PACCAR Parts introduced new electric vehicle charging stations to support the global launch of battery electric vehicles (BEVs). The chargers are designed to be compatible with Kenworth electric trucks and work for other commercial electric vehicles.
Customers can purchase the chargers from Kenworth dealers and TRP store locations worldwide, choosing from multiple DC fast chargers rated up to 920V DC. These electric vehicle charging stations maximize coverage over a wide range of BEVs including trucks, vans, buses and other commercial vehicles.
The full line of electric vehicle charging stations offer an optimal fit for Kenworth trucks. They are backed by a two-year warranty and include an RFID reader for user authentication and cellular connection with a two-year cellular service plan. A two-year Service Level Agreement is included with the chargers. All chargers include services that have negotiated pricing to provide the best price for customers. PACCAR Parts also stocks replacement parts for the chargers at its 18 global parts distribution centers (PDCs) for industry-leading parts availability.
